Privacy Policy

FoundryNet collects as little as a website can. There are no user accounts, no forms, no comment system, no newsletter, no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. No cookies are set by this site.

Theme preference. If you switch between the terminal and paper themes, the choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key fn-theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it from your browser settings.

Request logs. The hosting edge that serves the site records standard request metadata (requested URL, response status, approximate timestamp, user agent, and a truncated or hashed client address) for a short period to keep the site reliable and to detect abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles and are not shared with advertisers.

Email. If you write to the editor, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to reply and act on it, then deleted. They are not added to any list.

External links. Sources are cited as plain text. Where a page links to another site, that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave.

Changes. This policy may be updated when the site changes; the date below moves when it does. Questions go to the contact page. Last updated September 2026.
